What to Expect on Delivery Day

A calm walkthrough of arrival, placement, counts, weather contingencies, and how to reach us if plans shift.

Delivery day should feel supportive, not chaotic. A clear handoff—someone present, a ready footprint, and a quick final check—protects your timeline and keeps the setup looking intentional before guests arrive.

Before we arrive

Have someone available at the venue or gate. Share the best phone number in your booking if it differs from your account. Confirm parking or unloading access, especially in subdivisions with guard protocols.

If décor installation is happening at the same time, agree on a sequence: furniture first, then delicate styling. That order reduces moving chairs around finished balloon garlands.

When we arrive

We unload carefully, place tables and chairs according to your notes, and confirm counts with you or your coordinator. If your sketch changed overnight, tell the team immediately before everything is fully positioned.

Keep kids and pets away from the unloading path. Moving furniture needs clear space and focus.

After setup

Do a quick walk-through: chair count, table position, and access for guests. Check that buffet flow will not collide with seating aisles. Tell us immediately if something needs adjusting before we leave.

A five-minute review at this stage prevents twenty minutes of host stress later.

If weather turns

Light rain is common. Have a covered staging area when you can, or confirm an indoor fallback seating plan. If the final placement might move from lawn to carport, say so early so we can plan the first drop thoughtfully.

Wind matters too—secure light table décor after furniture is set, not before.

If plans shift mid-day

Need a last-minute change? Contact us through WhatsApp or the number on the site as early as possible. We cannot always move inventory mid-route, but we will always try to help. The earlier we know, the more options we have.

A simple delivery-day checklist

  • On-site contact is ready and reachable
  • Path from vehicle to setup zone is clear
  • Layout notes are finalized
  • Rain or heat backup is identified
  • Final counts are confirmed before the team leaves

Clean, careful delivery is part of what you are booking—not just the furniture itself. When you reserve with The Event Corner, those details are part of the service promise.
